Welcome to Plymouth RNLI
Plymouth RNLI celebrates 200 Anniversary at Royal William Yard
Sunday 3rd March we celebrated our 200 year anniversary at the Royal William Yard. Over 6000 of you joined us for a day of celebrations.
2023 proved to be another busy year for Plymouth Lifeboat station. Our volunteer crew have launched on service 139 times this year, carried out training every other Sunday and Wednesday, attended lots of public engagement events and held our annual open day at the Royal William Yard.
FLOAT TO LIVE
If you found yourself struggling in the water unexpectedly, your instinct would tell you to swim hard. But cold water shock could make you gasp uncontrollably. Then you could breathe in water and drown. Instead, you should Float to Live.
