All Weather Lifeboat (Sybil Mullen Glover) launched on service by Falmouth Coastguard to investigate distress signal activated from an EPIRB device.
Coastguard Rescue 924 helicopter was also tasked. After locating the signal and confirming all was safe and well it was confirmed the EPIRB was activated in error.
All Weather Lifeboat returned to station and made ready for service 11:50am
